Job Description

As an Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will manage all vendor invoices and expense vouchers.  In addition, you will supervise a mid-size AP team, assign workloads, and review the processes and procedures for the team, making recommendations and updates, as needed.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Supervisor:
  • Manage, train and mentor an Accounts Payable team for Shared Services
  • Create, implement and monitor policies and procedures for the team, ensuring they are in compliance with federal regulations and company policies at all times
  • Assign workload and special projects, as needed
  • Provide support for the accounting system (SAP)
Requirements of the Accounts Payable Supervisor:
  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred or equivalent experience in large A/P environment
  • 5 to 10 years of Accounts Payable experience
  • SAP experience is ideal or any large enterprise system
  • Prior experience supervising teams of up to 10
  • Experience working on a fast-paced team within Shared Services
  • Extensive knowledge of accounts payable policies and procedures
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while adhering to strict deadlines
  • Excellent computer skills with advanced knowledge of Excel
