**100% Remote**

We're looking for a talented DevSecOps Engineer to support our leading government innovation-focused client. If you have a passion for aligning operations and development initiatives, apply today to be immediately considered for this new multi-year contract.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen with the ability to obtain a clearance after starting in the role (I.E. pass a thorough background check in order to work for the Department of Defense, and become DoD 5870 / IAT II compliant to access SIPR/NIPR servers).

Requirements of the DevSecOps Engineer:
  • 2+ years of AWS experience in a system administration/DevOps role with growing experiences in both scripting, automation, and security patching/testing
  • In-depth understanding of AWS Cloud platform a must - this role will involve heavy work setting up VPCs, security groups/access management (IAM/SSO/LDAP) and work with containerized environments (Nodes, Kubernetes, EC2, ECS/EKS) and working with Lambdas and API gateways
  • Heavy information security background - this role will rely on your skills for encryption at rest/transit, key and secrets management, and also duties to audit, test, and improve security
  • Auditing background for maintaining security posture - exposure to RMF, NIST 800 controls, and a knowledge of how to ensure best security practices in a highly controlled environment
  • 3-5+ years of total experience - this role will require a solid IT background, where candidates will need to have 3-5 years in a dedicated infrastructure engineering environment with increased responsibilities on higher tier support matters, or equivalent experience with combined education/credentials
  • This role will be performed in a 100% remote capacity - candidates should be comfortable with remote/distributed teams across the nation, and be willing to work CST/EST hours to support our nations defense and our service members in the armed forces
Other requirements of the DevSecOps Engineer:
  • This role will require all candidates to possess (or obtain), one of the following certifications in line 1, and require an understanding of line 2 and 3 as our team works to get you a federal clearance for increased responsibility on the project over time:
    • A+ CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+ CE, Security+ CE, CISSP/SSCP, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC
    • T3 Clearance (High level Public Trust / Secret Clearance for DoD CAF)
    • This role will be a long term contract (extending for 5+ years) - we are seeking someone committed to joining and collaborating with our other highly skilled consultants on a long term / high visibility initiative to build up engineering solutions to modernize platforms into state of the art platforms
