Job Description

Are you a highly skilled Project Manager with experience leading Software as a Medical Device, Digital Medicine, or Digital Therapeutics projects? If so, we may have the ideal role for you with our pharmaceutical client in Gaithersburg!

Responsibilities of the SaMD Project Manager:

  • Help to form strategic plans for Digital Health domain
  • Oversee project planning and execution; ensure timely delivery
  • Identify problems and take action to solve or escalate as needed
  • Support project governance and reviews; maintain project progress visibility
  • Deliver project presentations to R&D, Digital Health, and various IT teams
  • Responsible for budget planning and follow up with vendors
  • Drive overall strategy for Digital Health solutions

Requirements of the SaMD Project Manager:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical area and at least 7 years of experience; or,
  • Master's degree and at least 5 years of experience
  • At least 3 years of experience with IT operations/management/project management
  • Demonstrated understanding of IT operations and business issues
  • Excellent collaboration and negotiation skills in an international setting
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience presenting in a professional capacity
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum development
  • Proven leadership skills
