Job Description

Our Fortune 500 Telecommunications client is seeking a Scrum Master. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader that can oversee multiple agile mobile application software projects simultaneously, and run scrum meetings for each. The person who fills this role should be a seasoned, certified Scrum Master that can adjust their style to meet the dynamic challenges of software development. The Scrum Master will be responsible for sprint planning, retrospectives, running daily / weekly stand-up meetings, sending out notes and action items, and helping the managers to plan work for team members.

Rate: $55 - $65 / hr. w2

Responsibilities of the Scrum Master:
  • Help improve team's software delivery 
  • Ensure high quality software products
  • Plan upcoming sprints for a given project
  • Coordinate project activities
  • Help with communications to improve transparency
Requirements of the Scrum Master:
  • 3+ years of Scrum Master experience
  • Certified Scrum Master: CSM, PMI-ACP, or equivalent
  • Thorough understanding of Agile/SAFe methodologies
  • Understanding of both Scrum and Kanban 
  • Extensive experience working with JIRA, or other Agile development tools 
  • Servant leadership style that can facilitate and build team consensus
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and facilitation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications 
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
