Job Description

Our highly regarded client in DC is seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join their team.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Responsibilities of the Technical Business Analyst:
  • Define business requirements through elicitation and research of business processes and operations
  • Develop use cases, test business processes, and recommend improvements
  • Understand business needs and challenges of business stakeholders
  • Help to facilitate team and client meetings; deliver informative, well-organized presentations
  • Develop/own requirements, system, and technical specification documentation
  • Work with project manager to ensure successful project delivery
  • Become SME on application, process, or system to support development and testing efforts
  • Ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported on, and resolved in a timely manner
  • Work with project team to identify changes and update project deliverables
Requirements of the Technical Business Analyst:
  • Extensive knowledge of emerging industry practices when solving business problems
  • Understanding of how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
  • Understanding of the different SDLC methodologies
  • Understanding of application programming, database, and system design
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Visio
  • Ability to identify critical issues with ease
