Job Description

Are you a knowledgeable Agile Project Manager with the capability to be a key contributor on a large scale application re-platform initiative?

Are you interested in providing subject matter expertise, direction, and coaching on Agile best practices across a range of teams?

If so, we may have the ideal opportunity for you with our client in Stamford!

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Responsibilities of the Agile Project Manager:

  • Coach Agile teams: Claims, Accounting, Cash, EDI, Underwriting, Retro, Reporting, and Data Conversion
  • Manage and facilitate Agile transformation of teams; facilitate the prioritization of work aligned with strategy
  • Foster communication and collaboration between Agile teams and all relevant stakeholders
  • Remove barriers and impediments to team success
  • Track and communicate key metrics
Requirements of the Agile Project Manager:
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent and at least 7 years of relevant experience
  • Extensive knowledge and application of servant-leadership principles
  • Effective at enabling conflict-resolution, empowerment, and transparency
  • Experience defining and improving business processes
  • Ability to effectively lead teams as well as prioritize and assign work
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to effectively navigate complex and ambiguous situations
  • Ability to quickly adapt to change and anticipate challenges
