Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an Automation Developer with our industry-leading client in Durham.

We will accept corp to corp or w2 contractors. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Responsibilities of the Automation Developer:

  • Review and analyze business requirements to create a technical solution residing outside of the normal Information Services production environment
  • Identify and implement automation tools to eliminate manual processes and improve existing systems
  • Test and debug code
  • Act as departmental business coordinator on small to medium and/or moderately complex  projects
  • Document and track project plan for work deliverables
  • Work with business partners to ensure project moves forward according to plan
  • Create training materials and support documentation
  • Provide support during warranty period
  • Communicate actions, business impacts and expected results

Requirements of the Automation Developer:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience with at least one development tool 
  • In Lieu of a degree, 5 years as a technician utilizing multiple development tools/languages
  • Java & VB Scripting
