Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst that has strong experience within the Clinical Trials/Research space with our industry-leading client in Durham.

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Responsibilities of the Business Analyst:
  • Coordinate technical needs to create business, functional, and technical requirements documentation
  • Coordinate project meetings, communicate with team, partners, and senior management
  • Participate in scope, white-boarding sessions, establish as-is and to-be states
  • Develop technical documentation, system flowcharts, and other materials as needed
  • Conduct business requirements sessions, interviews with business, and workshops
  • Work with teams to translate business requirements into reporting functional requirements
  • Communicate and translate technical impacts, solutions, root cause, and corrective action into business concepts
Requirements of the Business Analyst:
  • Must have experience in a large IT organization within the Clinical Research space
  • At least 3 years of experience in large enterprise systems
  • At least 3 years of experience conducting business requirements sessions, writing business requirements, and developing use cases
  • Experience with Jira, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC and RICEFW processes
  • Working experience of onsite-offshore model and with global cross-functional teams
  • Clear and effective communication skills - written and verbal
