Job Description

We have an outstanding opportunity for a DevOps Architect with our industry-leading client in Falls Church.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities of the DevOps Architect:

  • Define, develop, and implement CMS to support enterprise SDLC
  • Perform and validate installations, upgrades, deployments, and containers
  • Define and guide standards and best practices
  • Develop automation scripts for build, deployment, and versioning
  • Research and resolve technical problems with version control and continuous integration systems

Requirements of the DevOps Architect:

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree
  • At least 12 years of relevant experience, including expertise with DevOps frameworks
  • At least 1 year of experience with Angular, Spring/SpringBoot, Java, Hibernate
  • Extensive experience contributing to development initiatives 
  • Familiarity with micro services, Maven, Ant, JUnit, and BitBucker
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline and processes
  • Experience with Jenkins, Git, Jira, Confluence, Eclipse
  • Understanding of software processes and methodologies
  • Proficient in common Agile practices and tools 
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
