Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity for a DevOps Engineer with our industry-leading security client in DC.

Due to federal security contract requirements, applicant must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Requirements of the DevOps Engineer:

  • BS and 10 years of experience; or, MS and 7 years of experience 
  • At least 5 years of experience with Linux servers in virtualized environments 
  • At least 5 years of experience with Linux scripting languages: Bash, Perl, Python, Ansible
  • At least 5 years of experience maintaining Linux patch platforms
  • At least 5 years of experience with configuration management tools like Puppet
  • Familiarity with load balancing firewalls and proficiency in networking tools
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere
  • Familiarity with web based technologies and web servers
  • Ability to lead and guide the completion of major projects
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Linux certifications a strong plus
