Job Description

Are you a highly skilled Security Engineer with broad experience in ForeScout CounterACT and the ability to advise on organizational security posture? Are you interested in joining a key government integrator in a contract to hire role? If so, we may have the ideal role for you with our client in Falls Church!

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident with an active DoD Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities of the ForeScout Security Engineer:

  • Assess organizational security posture through network analysis and solution design
  • Determine true threats, false positives, and system misconfigurations; develop timely solutions
  • Develop and implement authorized network/device policies to enhance security posture
  • Analyze data imports into Splunk for accuracy and completeness
  • Provide support for daily operational activities related to security tools
  • Act as SME in tool output analysis and recommend improvements to overall security posture

Requirements of the ForeScout Security Engineer:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent
  • Ability to map application components to identify security issues and devise solutions
  • Ability to review, produce, and recommend edits to Splunk dashboards
  • Ability to troubleshoot application connectivity and performance through log analysis
  • Experience with Forescout CounterACT
  • Experience with MS Office Suite
