If so, we may have the ideal opportunity for you as a Help Desk Support Engineer with our client in Jersey City.

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Responsibilities of the Help Desk Support Engineer:
  • Monitor, support, repair, and maintain computer equipment
  • Perform software upgrades on PCs
  • Maintain file and application server software and desktop infrastructure
  • Ensure application performance and availability 
  • Proactively resolve potential systems issues
  • Receive and respond to support calls; log issues in tracking system
  • Diagnose problems via phone or email; answer customer questions
Requirements of the Help Desk Support Engineer:
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in an equivalent role
  • Strong desktop and engineering support experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • O365 certifications a plus
