Job Description

They are currently looking for a Help Desk Support Specialist to join their incredible team.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be in possession of a Public Trust Clearance.

Responsibilities of the Help Desk Support Specialist:

  • Provide phone and email support to end users for email, directories, and applications
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for hardware/software and printer troubleshooting
  • Provide a professional, timely, and courteous response to user calls during business hours
  • Perform account password administration and process new user account requests
  • Process Remedy tickets for installations, moves, adds, and changes
  • Manage user expectations for resolutions/follow up

Requirements of the Help Desk Support Specialist:

  • Background in IT and help desk experience
  • Windows technical skills
  • Experience following documented policies and procedures
  • Focused on improving performance through on the job training
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Desire to learn new skills
