Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity for an IDS/IDP Security Engineer with a large government client in Morrisville.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident with US-based residency for at least the last five years.

Responsibilities of the IDS/IDP Security Engineer:

  • Manage, maintain, and deploy IDS and IPS devices
  • Troubleshoot devices when needed
  • Assist analyst teams with investigations

Requirements of the IDS/IDP Security Engineer:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related technical discipline; CISSP or Security+ certification 
  • At least 3 years of experience in systems and network engineering
  • Prior experience with IDS/IDP device maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of databases, networking, and network protocols
  • Experience with Linux and packet analysis
  • Ability to collaborate effectively
  • Flexible for on-call availability
