Job Description

Our client is an American publicly owned investment firm that is headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland.  For more than 75 years, our client has been dedicated to putting the customer first so they feel confident in investing through them.  They are currently looking for a Java Developer/SDET to join their team.

Responsibilities of the Java Developer/SDET:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive suites of automation test plans and test cases
  • Maintain and add to existing automation framework
  • Evaluate test cases for inclusion in regression
  • Automate newly integrated features
  • Develop tool sets to augment QA and development testing
  • Collaborate with software engineers in a Scrum team to deliver the highest quality products in a timely and cost-effective manner

Requirements of the Java Developer/SDET:

  • Solid understanding of Agile principles
  • Experience with automation tools such as Protractor, Selenium, Cucumber, Git, Sonar, Fortify, HP ALM, Rally or SpecFlow
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Solid database query knowledge (MS SQL Server, Oracle etc)
