Job Description

We have a great opportunity for a Jr. WebSphere Administrator with our industry-leading defense client in Baltimore.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident with the ability to obtain a designated government clearance level.

Responsibilities of the Jr. WebSphere Administrator:

  • Support development and validation environments that support internal applications
  • Support infrastructure tasks and initiatives for web and applications support activities
  • Support a wide range of technologies that are rapidly growing and evolving

Requirements of the Jr. WebSphere Administrator:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant technical discipline
  • Experience with IBM WebSphere 8.5+ administration, installation, and configuration
  • Knowledge of Red Hat Linux v7
  • Experience troubleshooting IT system/user issues
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Knowledge of deployment automation tools a plus
  • Knowledge of IBM MQ administration a plus
  • Knowledge of Shell scripting a plus
