Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Application Packager with our highly recognized financial services client in Plano.

We will accept corp to corp or w2 contractors. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Responsibilities of the Junior Application Packager:

  • Perform application administration, deployment, and security updates
  • Create application packages and well thought out deployment plans that minimize risk and conflict
  • Partner with support teams and ensure they're aware of desktop changes and can voice feedback
  • Provide strategic direction and technical leadership within the application delivery team
  • Offer third level support on packages, deployment, and Windows update issues
  • Develop automated solutions to replace repetitive manual processes

Requirements of the Junior Application Packager:

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience
  • Several years of experience in Windows desktop systems management
  • Experience in a large enterprise environment
  • Familiarity with Mac OS and Apple scripting
  • Experience with Jenkins preferred
