Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity for a Lead Automation Engineer to join our innovative client in Jersey City.

Responsibilities of the Lead Automation Engineer:

  • Design and develop end-to-end automated tests for system and component functionality
  • Provide automation expertise to team and troubleshoot any automation issues
  • Utilize BitBucket to manage automation source code
  • Integrate automated testing with CI/CD pipeline
  • Regularly report status to stakeholders

Requirements of the Lead Automation Engineer:

  • At least 5 years of Core Java development experience, including J2EE, JSP, JDBC, and AngularJS
  • Financial industry experience required
  • Experience in TDD or DevOps test automation is a big plus
  • Experience in web development: HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Experience developing and testing for mainframe and distributed systems
  • Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux
  • Experience with at least one RDBMS
  • Experience in an Agile environment
  • Selenium experience is a plus
