Job Description

We have a great opportunity for a Lead Security Project Engineer with our high profile client in Carrollton.

Due to federal security contract requirements, applicant must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Responsibilities of the Lead Security Project Engineer:

  • Lead projects from end the end while ensuring adherence to system requirements 
  • Ensure system design meets system requirements via documentation, design reviews, and collaboration 
  • Plan and develop engineering management plan for assigned projects, including schedules, budgets, and resource requirements
  • Monitor and report on engineering performance to senior leadership
  • Ensure comprehensive technical documentation of solutions

Requirements of the Lead Security Project Engineer:

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline
  • At least 5 years of development experience in project operations through all phases of the SDLC
  • At least 5 years of experience managing system requirements/technical projects
  • Experience with requirements management tools like IBM Rational DOORS
  • Experience with scheduling tools like MS Project
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent influencing and motivating abilities
