We have an exciting opportunity for a Network Compliance Engineer with our industry-leading client in Littleton, CO.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package


  • Solid understanding and application of 3GPP 5G and LTE, GSMA, CTIA, and FCC standards as applied to UE designs from modems to modules to end products
  • Support of additional technologies including CBRS, NB-IOT, NR-U, and LAA
  • Continuous learning in the latest standards, technologies, and implementation methods
  • Understanding of Dish Wireless specific network implementation and associated standards
  • Generate, maintain and update the Dish Wireless requirements for User Equipment deployed on our network
  • Collaborate with RAN, Product, Certification, and Operations teams on DISH specific requirements and compliance with industry standards      
  • Engage with modem and RFFE vendors on Dish requirements, technology alignment, specification review of performance and function
  • Proactively update internal and external groups to ensure alignment of features, performance, and major timelines associated various supporting vendors
  • Bring up, test, and validation for engineering development of dev kits with Dish specific profiles for pre-compliance to Dish Wireless Requirements
  • Present status and reports to Director of Device Engineering and other teams on progress, issues, and resolutions
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and cooperate in teams, projects, and cross-functionally to achieve results
  • Ability to work off-hours schedule as required
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines
  • Travel domestically and internationally – as permitted by prevailing conditions


  •  BSEE or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years’ experience in wireless device standards, requirements, and design
  • 7+ years in use and knowledge of cellular wireless test equipment and methods
  • Maintain, and update requirements for Dish Device specific features and performance
  • Solid understanding and use of dev kits and associated software tools from major modem chipset suppliers
  • Solid understanding and use of 5G/LTE wireless test equipment such as CMW or UXM for RF/RRM/Protocol test and validation
  • 5G NR UE radio and designs incorporating up to 3GPP Release 16 support for eMBB, mMTC, and URLLC for deployments into SA, standalone, and NSA, non-standalone, networks. Experience with validation of RF, RRM, and Protocol compliance
  • IoT Radio and designs incorporating 3GPP LTE NB-IOT, LoRA, SigFox, and other related low power wide area battery powered devices as required. Experience with the associated standards and validation of RF, RRM, and Protocol compliance testing
  • CBRS, LAA, and NR-U UE requirements and hardware design implementation
  • ATSC 3.0 front-end designs from tuner through demodulator
  • Use of such as network emulators, wireless testers, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, bit error rate testers, signal sources, modulators, and noise sources
  • Familiar with consumer electronics design process and cycle times
  • Hands-on component level RF cellular wireless hardware circuit design experience
