Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Network Engineer with our industry-leading client in Southborough.

We will accept corp to corp or w2 contractors. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

This is a second shift position, 1pm-11pm

Responsibilities of the Network Engineer:

  • Work on the front lines, troubleshooting network and cyber security incidents for our growing customer base
  • Follow all NSOC policies, processes and procedures
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with customers
  • Escalate complex network and security incidents to senior engineers as needed
  • Attend regular internal and external training sessions
  • Work towards development goals in line with your individual development plan
Requirements of the Network Engineer:
  • Computer Science or equivalent degree
  • Technical skills required: Switching, Routing, Next Generation Firewalls including Cisco, Checkpoint and Palo Alto
  • Ability to work independently to resolve incidents
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and conceptual skills
  • Ability to monitor, tune and troubleshoot systems
  • Strong customer focus. Must work well with customers of varying levels of technical expertise in high pressure situations and complex environments
