An Eliassen client has an immediate need for a Network Engineer. Are you well versed in network infrastructure administration and maintenance? If so, this may be the opportunity for you!

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen with an active Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities of the Network Engineer:
  • Test for network vulnerabilities: evaluate, test, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve information security issues
  • Prepare comprehensive reports based on findings
  • Produce documentation to ensure proper protocols and processes are in place
  • Develop comprehensive network security policies 
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and integrators
Requirements of the Network Engineer:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and at least 2 years of experience
  • Experience configuring and managing enterprise firewalls and gateway devices
  • Familiarity with Cisco, LAN/WAN concepts, application firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, RHEL, and Windows
  • Ability to effectively communicate network security issues to peers and management
  • Ability to work in a matrixed IT environment
  • Security+ and/or CISSP a plus
