Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager with our industry-leading client in Portland, OR.  This position is 100% remote.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package

Responsibilities:

  • Define and manage project scope, develop project plans, determine necessary resources and establish project timelines along with blockers, dependencies, and critical path
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Customer Success to ensure customer integration projects are led to the highest standards, representing the company on key customer-facing meetings.
  • Coordinate and influence a diverse range of stakeholders within our team (Product, Sales, Customer Success, Engineering) to align on workflows that deliver value to our customers
  • Assume leadership position with cross-organization team to solve complex technical issues and develop workarounds to potential technology and workflow blockers
  • Identify technology and software gaps and prototype new solutions
  • Draft technical and product specifications (user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria) to develop functionality that streamlines our integration tools and interfaces
  • Map clinical users’ workflows to product functionality while promoting best practices
  •  Support and implement adoption by our customers to help ensure they realize the full value of our platform, using SaaS metrics and best practices
  • Advocate and share our platform’s value to customers, including clinical staff, IT staff, executives and other stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to identify risks to project success; develop effective action plans for resolution
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with technology stakeholders with our partner organizations and customer’s IT and security teams
  • Lead multiple, highly visible projects simultaneously

Requirements:

  • Experience with healthcare standards and interoperability including but not limited to HL7 2.x, HL7 3.x, HL7 FHIR, IHE integration profiles and technical frameworks
  • Experience with EMR/EHR platform(s) preferred (Epic, Netsmart, Cerner, etc.)
  • Experience leading third-party integrations and developing implementation strategies across customer’s service lines
  • Track record of successfully analyzing, defining, and overseeing requirements for complex products and integrations.
  • Knowledge of big data technologies and data integration methods
  • Self-starter, able to work independently, able to succeed in a fast-paced, high intensity start-up environment
  • 5+ years of experience scoping, vetting, and delivering scalable, configurable healthcare integration solutions to satisfy product/data workflows.
  • 5+ years of work experience leading technology projects
  • 3+ years of prior project management experience in healthcare, such as EMR integration projects
  • Experience working as a product manager or project manager in an Agile environment
  • Previous healthcare SaaS experience is a big plus
