Job Description

We have a wonderful opportunity for a Python Developer with our industry-leading financial services client in Detroit.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis for this long term contract opportunity.

Responsibilities of the Python Developer:

  • Develop Python-based applications to support trading activities
  • Analyze interfaces, files, databases, and reports 
  • Create technical specifications for development 
  • Develop technical design and recommendations for enhancements
  • Work directly with clients 

Requirements of the Python Developer:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • At least 4 years of experience with C++, .Net, Java, and Perl
  • At least 1 year of experience with Python 3.x development
  • Strong object-oriented programming skills
  • Intermediate SQL development skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to multi-task effectively
  • Agile development experience and knowledge is a plus
