Eliassen Group is partnered with our client who is the prime on a US Census Bureau program for this Scrum Master position.  Situated close in Suitland, MD, this program supports the modernization of legacy applications from oracle to more recent java versions and frameworks. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

In this role, you would be responsible for a team of about 10 developers and Business Analysts, conducting Scrum ceremonies, overseeing project backlog, deliverables, and coaching the team through impediments.  In addition, you would also be directly interfacing and communicating with the client so an understanding of the federal space and functionality is crucial to the success of this role.

Federal Requirements:

  • Certified as a ScrumMaster from an accredited institution
  • 5+ years’ experience in leading multiple agile software development project teams
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including organizational, team building, people management, issue resolution, and customer relationship management
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels of the organization with both internal and external customers
  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust prior to EOD
