Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Digital Workplace Consultant with our industry-leading client. You will be collaborating in a dynamic and creative environment researching and implementing digital workplace technologies to champion their implementation within the organization. Leveraging your strong technical skills, you will strategically implement digital workplace and collaboration technology solutions to enable our organization to reach its goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Architecture and design of digital workplace solutions that enable us to turn productivity, communication, and collaboration technologies into effective business capabilities
  • Manage the portfolio of digital workplace products to ensure application architecture is aligned with current and future needs
  • Ensure digital workplace solution architecture decisions are made in accordance with relevant technical strategies, policies, standards practices and governance; ensure any deviations are properly identified, addressed, and communicated.
  • Develop and maintain solution architecture artifacts for the suite of digital workplace tools
  • Track the roadmaps of Microsoft and other major vendors to maintain alignment between corporate strategy and emerging technology
  • Actively identify opportunities to leverage digital workplace technology and data to drive innovation, efficiency, transparency, and quality improvement
  • Lead demos, training, proof of concept trials, and pilot opportunities to support coworkers in their transition into the modern workplace experience
  • Execute quick technical feasibility assessments to evaluate customer-identified solutions
  • Aggregate and present relevant digital workplace metrics to drive adoption
  • Identify new Microsoft digital workplace product enhancements as they are released; understand product capabilities, positioning, deployment strategies, best practices, and potential risks
  • Stay current on the latest developments in cloud-based digital workplace technology trends and technologies
  • End goal to turn productivity, communication and collaboration technologies into effective business capabilities. Present solutions, instruct on how they work and help to implement.
Requirements:
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft Technology such as Stream, SharePoint, Teams, Planner, Forms, M365, Azure DevOps; VoIP platforms including Polycom/Avaya and other technologies including Citrix RightSign/ShareFile and OTKA.  
  • 10+ years of experience related to IT delivery, IT Management or Digital Workplace Implementation
  • Ability to acclimate to new environments quickly and come up to speed on existing technologies and processes
  • Knowledge and vision for how the digital workplace will evolve in the future
  • Experience employing various Agile techniques (i.e., Scrum, Kanban, etc.) preferred.
  • Proven ability to get roll up your sleeves, get hands dirty and speak directly to users, in some cases 1x1.  
  • Strong Technical Know-how/understanding to conduct training, speak to large audiences clearly/professionally/confidently, and drive execution independently.
  • Passionate about new digital workplace technologies, business drivers, and emerging computing trends; take initiative to independently grow technical knowledge.
  • Ability to explain complex technical solutions to technical and non-technical audiences; connect technical solutions with measurable business value.
  • Ability to understand and link Excel data sources (for users leveraging Teams, users still using Skype, users using our old telephony systems, users not on our new Citrix platform yet, users who have Laptops, etc.) and use that data to drive the adoption and rollout strategy.
