Responsibilities of the Senior Scrum Master:
  • Lead Scrum teams to achieve successful product delivery
  • Empower team to self-manage and remove impediments to progress
  • Offer Agile leadership and training; assess team's agile maturity
  • Work with leadership to coordinate activities between scrum teams
Requirements of the Senior Scrum Master:
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master for software development teams 
  • Scrum Master certification required (CSM)
  • Experience with DevOps, ITIL, Cloud Services, IT Infrastructure, and Operations
  • Experience with JIRA or working knowledge of the tool
  • Experience acting as a Scrum Master during an Agile transformation
  • Solid understanding of software development fundamentals, including CI/CD best practices
  • Experience with Agile measurement practices for tracking team effectiveness and velocity
  • Clear and effective communication and mentoring skills
