Job Description

Our well-known client in the uptown Charlotte area is looking for an experienced SQL Server DBA to analyze, design, develop, install, configure, deploy and manage a large number of MS SQL Server 2016 databases. 
 
As a Senior SQL Server DBA, you will also be responsible for providing sound advice and guidance on technical matters to other database analysts and application developers.  Additionally, you should be knowledgeable in database clustering, replication, advanced SQL query-writing, ETL, and reporting.   
 
Top requirements 
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL Server (preferably 2016)
  • Query optimization, performance tuning of database schemas, stored procedures, etc.
  • SQL Server clustering and replication 
  • Strong knowledge of how indexes work, and management of index statistics and fragmentation
