Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Windows Desktop Engineer with our industry-leading national security client in DC.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident with the ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities of the Senior Windows Desktop Engineer:

  • Respond to and resolve complex technical issues for clients
  • Ensure adherence to service level expectations for response time
  • Investigate and resolve problems related to VMware and Windows Server
  • Identify solutions to work around open issues that are pending/under investigation
  • Document and track case histories, issues, and actionable steps
  • Maintain detailed trouble ticket information using established NOC processes

Requirements of the Senior Windows Desktop Engineer:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent and at least 8 years of experience
  • Extensive experience troubleshooting application-related problems
  • Knowledge of industry standard hardware and software systems
  • Familiarity with basic network concepts and terminology
  • Ability to install and verify software package installations
  • Basic knowledge of Linux, SQL, DC, and MS Exchange
  • Preferred certifications: ITIL Foundation, CCNA, AWS, MCSA, VMware Associate/Professional
