Job Description

Are you a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test with extensive knowledge of quality assurance tools and methods? Are you interested in joining a globally recognized financial services organization? If so, we may have the ideal role for you with our client in Durham!

Responsibilities of the SDET:

  • Advocate and improve quality assurance
  • Recommend software development process improvements
  • Develop and maintain test cases
  • Lead test planning and test case review processes
  • Support test automation by offering clarification on test cases
  • Support manual test execution

Requirements of the SDET:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, or equivalent
  • Extensive experience with Java, JavaScript, or similar for test automation development
  • Strong QA automation tool experience - hands-on Selenium and Cucumber experience required
  • Knowledge of electronic trading domain, FIX protocol, and Fixed Income required
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and take the initiative to problem solve
