Job Description

**100% remote to start; must be able to work on-site in Rensselaer once restrictions are lifted.

Are you an experienced System Administrator with the desire to support enterprise code integration activities?

If so, we may have the ideal role for you in Rensselaer. 

Responsibilities of the System Administrator:
  • Manage code integrations, mergers, and deployment requests
  • Develop documentation to deploy and maintain each version of a new release
  • Communicate integration and deployment activities 
  • Provide Dev Test environment server support
  • Recommend process improvements
Requirements of the System Administrator:
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 6 years of experience
  • At least 5 years of experience with databases, programming, testing, and software development
  • Solid understanding of Core Java concepts: OOP, APIs, multi-threading (required), Spring
  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis, J2EE concepts, architecture, and technologies
  • Web development experience with client-side MVC frameworks: HTML, JavaScript, Angular, Node.js
  • Experience with Linux system administration and/or middleware administration with JBoss and WebLogic
  • Experience with version control systems: GIT SVN, BitBucket, Perforce, etc.
  • Working knowledge of J2EE application development and related tools
  • Strength with batch scripts a must
