Job Description

We have a great opportunity for a Systems Administrator with our industry-leading security client in Springfield.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident with TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.

Responsibilities of the Systems Administrator:

  • Manage and maintain efficient functioning of one or more operating systems
  • Generate new accounts, provide thorough documentation, and tune system performance
  • Install system-wide software and valid and implement system patches
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend hardware and software purchases
  • Ensure reported problems are followed up and resolved in a timely fashion
  • Schedule, plan, and oversee system upgrades
  • Provide Tier 1 support for PC and hardware

Requirements of the Systems Administrator:

  • High school education or equivalent and at least 1 year of related data processing experience
  • Knowledge of PC and server processes and network operations preferred
  • Security+ required within three months of starting
