Are you a highly experienced and skilled Systems Analyst with strong experience at a research-driven organization?

If so, we may have the ideal role for you with our client in Farmington.

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Responsibilities of the Systems Analyst:
  • Work collaboratively to deploy, install, and administer innovative Cloud solutions
  • Leverage security best practices and policies for controlled access data sets
  • Design, execute, and monitor research IT cloud environment
  • Develop and deliver training programs and workshops for scientists on best methods for IT resource utilization 
  • Maintain knowledge of new and emerging technologies and informatics tools
  • Help to prepare and submit grant proposals
Requirements of the Systems Analyst:
  • PhD in life/natural sciences with 3 years of experience; or,
  • Master's and at least 5 years of experience
  • Expertise with Unix/Linux systems, shell scripting, C/C++ programming, and Python/Perl
  • Experience at a research-focused organization required
  • Hands-on experience with a broad range of cloud tools across AWS, GCP, and Azure
  • Experience with CI/CD technologies (one or more): Azure pipelines, Cloud Build, or Jenkins
  • Experience with a wide range of scientific applications: MatLab, R, STATE, MySQL, etc.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Experience with container technologies a plus
