Position Description:

Our client is looking to hire a contract Technical Implementation Specialist who will be a member of their Technical Operations team. This role is responsible for handling technical configuration and other account customizations required by our customers throughout the implementation process of our SaaS platform. The Technical Implementation Specialist will work directly with our implementation and integration teams. She/he will also interface with Support and Engineering in the process of investigating customer issues. The ideal candidate will be well-organized, self-motivated, and technically savvy with excellent communication skills. A key to success is being able to coordinate and direct both internal and customer resources to deliver successful changes and upgrades. Internal and external communication is essential and continuous. We encourage and reward initiative, drive, creative thinking, and ownership of implementation processes.   • Responsible for supporting configuration, integration, and deployment of the clients environment in customer environments.
  • Proactive communication with the Enablement team, including acknowledgment of new tasks, completion of tasks, and the proactive escalation of issues related to assignments.
  • Managing tasks and deliverables, communicating concerns and blocking issues, and supporting team members as they do the same.


1. Professional Experience
  • Previous experience working on technical integration projects.
  • A high-level of technical aptitude is required: this role involves technical
  • conversations with IT departments, software developers, and system
  • administrators.
  • Experience with Project Management (project planning, resource
  • management, scope, schedule and status, documentation) preferred.
  • Previous professional services experience preferred.

2. Technical Experience
  • Experience with enterprise ERPs (PeopleSoft, Banner, SAP) preferred
  • Experience with Directories (LDAP, AD) and SSO integration preferred
  • Strong skills required in Excel, Word, and Google Apps
  • Optional but helpful: Working knowledge of development methodologies and technologies in one or more than of the following:
JavaScript, jQuery, Java, JSP
Python / Django

  • Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience preferred

  • The Company’s office is in Boston, MA. However, the Technical Implementation Specialist can be located anywhere in the continental United States.
