Responsibilities of the Technical Project Manager:
  • Organize, lead and monitor technology projects
  • Manage resources utilization, project scope, deadlines, and budget
  • Facilitate regular project status meetings with stakeholders and teams
  • Prepare Executive and Board level status reports and participate in resource capacity planning sessions
  • Lead daily scrum meetings and other agile processes as needed
  • Develop a risk management plan with stakeholders
  • Manage project vendors
Requirements of the Technical Project Manager:
  • Bachelors' in Computer Science, Business, Information Management or relevant industry experience
  • At least 5 years of experience managing software (product) development projects through their entire life cycle
  • At least 2 years of experience in an Agile environment, preferably as a Scrum Master
  • Experience managing both onsite and geographically distributed project teams
  • Understanding of complex technical operations environments
